As a photographer I was really looking forward to this wedding in Italy. The wedding was held in the region of Friuli, northeastern part of the country. In the heart of Collio – that is how Italians call the hills covered with vineyards and romantic villages. While in Slovenija we call it Brda.
Martina, originaly from Chech republic while Saverio is a true Italian, got married in probably one of the most spectacular churches I have ever been – Abbazia di Rosazzo, while the reception was held in a Castello Formetini. It is a medieval castle in San Floriano, not far away from Gorizia. Set in the middle of hilly part of Friuli, that is first of all beautiful due to all the amazing views over the vineyards and also with visible alps in the background. I like Italy! And you could really felt the Italian vibe, relaxed, calm, and with a rather excellent party.
You know you can talk about amazing, good looking and tasty food and a good prosecco when in Italy. And finaly, they drove with a vintage Rolls Royce to the venue.
