I like to call this one an Italian wedding or rather an Italian style wedding as these two, Sara and Urban, love Italy so much, despite they come from Slovenia. It was one of the favourite weddings so far for me. Not just because they were lovely and everything was organised so well but also because we connected so good.
I have one anecdote to share with you. When I was editing photos from their engagement session I had my itunes on random and I heard a song “A te” by Lorenzo Jovanotti quite a few times. After they have received the photos Urban posted one with a caption that is a part of the lyrics of this song. And guess what, this song was played for their first dance. So I guess we were working together connected on a higher level.
Another funny story started on a day of the wedding in the hotel lobby. Urban’s friend met Klemen Klemen (one of the legends os slovenian rap scene) by accident. Sure he asked him to come to the party as a surprise. Urban was singing/raping his songs in elementary school all the time they told me later. During the party they gave Urban a microphone and asked him if he can perform one of Klemen’s songs and he did it with no hesitation. when he was in the element, Klemen joined him. You should see his face.
